Some news: from August, Fortress will be available in comic shops everywhere—orders are now live through Lunar Distribution.
Shipping monthly, I’ll be going back to print with issues 1—3, with 4—6 following straight after.

Fortress issue 5 drops in March. The previews have a slightly different cover, but this is the final art. It’s shaping up to be my favourite issue yet.

Been a little absent from social platforms, but starting to wake from my slumber. I never quite know what to do with Bluesky to be honest haha. Anyway, Fortress 4 has been out for a good month now. It came out ok I think!

I love the A5 format. More compact, closer to manga size. I think you’re right too—size variety on the table is appealing. Non traditional comics people always pick these up… maybe the format comes across as more accessible and interesting?

I like the stand alone zine idea.
I did a Fortress Zine with bits from the main comic (back matter) but also new things you couldn’t get in the main comic. The zine used a different colour palette than the comic too.
Even though it’s connected to the comic I’ve had lots of people just buy the zine.
