I kinda like this satirical depiction of The Donald after his pathetic attempt at dismissing a reporter. I had to be careful to ask ChatGPT to generate this image in just the right way so it would actually do it! 😉

2nd Nov. 2025 marks the 25th anniversary of the ongoing human presence off-world.

That is, humans have continuously occupied the ISS for exactly 25 years today.

So if you're <= 24 years old, you've never lived in a world where humans were *only* terrestrial-based.

There’s a reason why Wab Kinew is the most popular Premier in Canada. He’s not afraid to speak the truth - he asserts that The Donald is a bully. Continue running the Regan ads. Double down @mark-carney.bsky.social - send Jean Chrétien to Washington as a special envoy focused on the President!

Premier Wab Kinew is backing Ontario’s anti-tariff ad campaign that U.S. President Donald Trump blamed for his decision to halt trade negotiations with Canada.

I'm happy for the Prince Edward Islanders. I'm an "islander" also, but I'm still waiting for the Federal government to chip in on our BC Ferries which we depend on this connection for essentials like food. BTW, ferry fare for a family is now running $300 return!
Since Canada’s new government cut tolls on the Confederation Bridge from $50 to $20, and cut fares on all interprovincial ferries in Atlantic Canada, usage has gone up by 25%.

A friend caught this opinion piece published in our local paper. Worth a read, although I realize most of my friends know how important having #empathy towards others is.
Comment: Lack of empathy leads to political violence
These heinous killings should make it painfully clear that if we continue to let a lack of empathy thrive in our political discourse, violence follows.
