The battle between Hal Jordan and The Spectre was cut way too short in Green Lantern (2024) #24. I would've loved more dialogue and perhaps more deeper cuts since it seems both of them do have a shared history.

Green Lantern #23 review:
*I am impressed with how the stakes keeping going up since we finally see Hal battle against The Spectre.
*Xermanico's artwork is stunning throughout the issue as it feels like a horror comic.
*The starbreakers do seem like a threat unlike the United Lanterns.

One aspect I grew to love about the Green Lantern Corps series (2025) is that it showcases why all the Green Lanterns are important and not just only Hal Jordan.

I am very interested in reading more upon Simon Baz and Teen Lantern since I am not familiar with them in the Green Lantern mythos.

Also its surprising to notice Teen Lantern does not actually have lantern ring of her own and uses a psionic battery.

Green Lantern Corps #4 review:
*I loved how character driven this issue was especially with Guy Garnder, Simon Baz and Kelli.
*It feels refreshing to take breather from the main storyline since it stand on its own.
* Guy Gardner really steals the show in this issue.

The biggest surprise to me in Green Lantern (2023) #22 was seeing Dan Garret is still alive. His last appearance in DC was in 1986. So for him to return now, and the reach was holding him captive, I am excited to see where this story goes since The Reach is a big problem for rest of the galaxy.

These 2 pages in Green Lantern (2023) #22 is the highlight for me. The conversation between Hal and Bones was masterfully crafted since we finally address the problems with the DEO and the misdeeds they are committing.

Green Lantern (2023) #22 review:
*I am not the biggest fan of slowing down the main story, but conflict between Hector Hammond and Hal Jordan was excellent.
*The subplot involving Kyle Rayner, Superboy, and the Odyssey team is fascinating since new concepts is introduced.

Seeing the giant metallic egg hatch from Thanagar in Green Lantern Corps #3 is a sight to be behold. I am surprised this is Horus.

Looks like I will be reading Hawkman/Hawkgirl comics since I do want to learn more about the Hawks and Thanagar.

I am sad since it seems this run of Green Lantern Corps won't be exploring the relationship between John and Shayera. They really do good chemistry with each other since their whole conversation adds complexity to the narrative.

This is my favorite page in Green Lantern Corps #3 where we get alot more nuance for why Red Lantern act the way they do. Their rage isn’t aimless. It’s driven by an actual loss, significantly as they’re cut off from their power source, thanks to the actions of the United Planet Lanterns

Green Lantern Corps #3: Oh my this issue was fast paced and surprisingly emotionally charged since we learn more as to what happened to the Red Lantern Corps. I really don't blame for why Atrocitus is acting this way since The Green Lantern Corps failed to stop the United Planets.

I do love this new character that was introduced in Power Rangers Prime #14

We got a glimpse of who they are in the beginning from this issue, but with this run concluding on issue 16 I do worry how will this story end since we do not what the final battle could be.

I loved the reunion of the Shiba family, but I am bummed out we got this so soon and not seeing an entire arc of Laura finding her dad and brother on her own since Power Rangers Prime is ending on issue 16.

Power Rangers Prime #14 review
With the climax of the story ramping up, it feels so exciting to see a reunion of Jun (Black Ranger) and Lauren meeting her brother and father. Flores really knows how to pull on emotional key moments with characters when we just met them for the first time

I am still bummed out that the Power Rangers franchise is forever entrenched with the Mighty Morphin Era.

It sucks as this franchise can expand more with Power Rangers Samurai era since it was the last time Power Rangers had any cultural awareness and popularity.

The ending of Power Rangers Prime #13 really surprised me since I never thought we would see Jayden Shiba at all in this series, but I am so stoked to see him since he was one of my favorite characters in Power Rangers Samurai.

P.S I miss Michael YG artwork in Power Rangers Prime. 😭

Power Rangers Prime #13 review: This is an excellent issue where it felt like an episode of Power Rangers. It is lovely to get some downtime with the rangers and seeing how they are feeling ever since the black rangers departure. Also this issue further highlights the rangers are at a crossroads.

Overall, despite my issues with this first issue of Iron Man #1, I am still intrigued with the story so far and here's hoping the story keeps getting better.

Anyways, I love artwork by Carmen Carnero which is not surprise at this point since its one of the reasons why I love the Exceptional X-Men run.

The splash pages in Iron Man #1 (2026) were a sight to behold.

I am not opposed to the MCU callbacks in Iron Man #1(2026), but I wished Williamson would've carved his own identity for Iron Man in his writing. Sometimes it does like I am re-living nostalgia from the MCU particularly Tony's arc in the MCU.

I am worried if this run for Iron Man will be more than 10 issues. So far this from this first issue, its asking a lot from readers to be invested in this story and waiting for months if our questions will even be answered.

Here's hoping this new Iron Man run will last much longer.

Iron Man #1 (2026) review:
I felt satisfied and frustrated. On the bat, Williamson definitely understands who Tony is, but it was a bit annoying since this first issue basically sets up for what's to come instead of a completed arc, and we have more questions than answers.

I am hoping this new Iron Man run has something to say. The past few Iron Man runs have been a nothing burger really, and with this new creative team there is promise.

Introducing another villain in the current arc for Green Lantern #21 is a bit confusing. I felt it takes away from the overall story since the Green Lantern Corps is facing against Starbreaker who is a now cosmic threat.

This story should've been in Justice League Unlimited (Mark Waid)
