Don't be fooled, the Federal Labor Government can back the #CSIRO and fund innovative solutions to very real, modern problems - they just choose not to.

Incredible people doing incredible things!

Good Omen Goodeze is a community movement that crafts comfort items for patients and families in the ACT's health system - bringing joy, beauty and hope for people when they need it.

A new study from a group of scientists, including Climate Council fellow Dr Wesley Morgan, has found a way to calculate the climate impact of individual fossil fuel projects.

We must urgently cut climate pollution to ensure a safer future for vulnerable communities and generations to come.

Stocking up on Canberra's all natural, fertiliser made from food waste, Food2Soil! 🍏🪏🌱

It improves soil and plant health, strengthens our circular economy, and reduces overall waste and harmful additives to care for our planet 🫶

This is beyond outrageous. The ACT Government knew a significant number of dragons had died earlier this year, yet didn't do everything they could to prevent an unnecessary development destroying one of their last habitats.

The Federal Labor Government needs to stop kicking people off the NDIS with no other support in place. Disability only exists because we have decision makers putting in policies that actively exclude people from being part of their community.

A pretty devastating blow for our community, environment and Canberra Earless Dragons today.

The Federal Labor Government has given the green light for the Canberra Airport's Northern Road Development which cuts right through key habitat for our little lizards.

Your daily reminder that the ACT Labor Government funnels $8 million of taxpayer money into the horse racing industry every year.

This is despite the fact they cannot justify how this provides any value to everyday people.

Great to catch up with the Australian Institute of Architects about what good design and planning for the missing middle looks like.

A reminder the ACT missing middle public consultation closes soon. Have your say now 👉 yoursayconversations.act.gov.au/missing-midd...

This is a vindication for everyone who stood up for Khaled in the artistic & wider community.

A victory for courage over fear and lies.

The ACT Greens have negotiated a better deal for Canberra today. We secured significant concessions from Labor on their unfair health levy. It is now reduced from $250 to $100 AND we secured commitment from government to partially adopt our plan to get big corporations to pay their fair share.

Remember how Labor's Environment Minister Murray Watt approved the new North Shelf gas project? It came hours after UNESCO said it risks the Murujuga petroglyphs - the first images of the human face. Now they can’t be listed for world heritage 🧵

ACT Labor have announced they are ending the Rent Relief Fund - a lifeline for a lot of people in Canberra who have otherwise been at risk of homelessness. With a public housing waiting list that barely moves we can’t cut measures that help people have a safe, secure place to call home.

Keep Canberra's pools accessible! 🏊‍♀️ We are in a climate crisis. Our summers are getting hotter and we need accessible public pools so our community can stay cool, have fun and safely enjoy warm summers.

The Greens are proud to stand with the community today to keep pools open and accessible.
