I noticed this discrepancy mentioned on Bluesky and so I looked on the Rotten Tomatoes to confirm the accuracy of the comments. Look at the difference between the critics' score and the audience score for the Melania movie!

I read another article that stated that the "now fired lawyer" had worked in the current role for a month and had asked to transfer from another department because the department needed lawyers with a stronger knowledge of the constitution. If true, the transfer didn't work out well for her!

Testimony from the disabled women who was detained by ICE when she got caught in a traffic jam on her way to a medical appointment. It is a harrowing tale and she tells it bravely and assertively.

This is not great
Floored by this story. A man wrote a pollite email to a federal prosecutor objecting to the deportation of an Afghan seeking asylum. DHS responded with an administrative warrant to get the man's info from Google, then visited his home to intimidate him.

It takes a LOT to get my Canadian pride up, like fascists threatening our sovereignty - but this did, too.

Way to go, Canucks!

Jane Fonda. A very effective advocate at 88 years old.
JANE FONDA: “I know Don Lemon. My husband created CNN. And I will fight for their right to speak… they arrested the wrong Don. This is how autocrats act. We can’t fall for it.”

This is amusing. He tries hard, but can't quite manage. Dogs are great.
This is Zeus. He's 13 and can't howl quite like he used to. But that doesn't stop him from stepping pup when his community needs him. 14/10 #SeniorPupSaturday (IG: zeustheoldiegoldie)

Even though I have worked in the elder law field for a long time I wasn’t familiar with this service until about two years ago. It is am emerging field and nice to see it profiled here.

Well that was fun! I went to the sold out Offspring Concert on the weekend. The first time I saw them was back in the 90's when I was a law student. Hard to believe that they are selling out arenas so many years later.

Fun story. The story contains a video of the cow using the broom to scratch herself. She uses the broom differently for different parts of the body. Personally, I have never thought of cows as being very smart, but maybe I was wrong?

This is quite the speech and well worth listening to. I previously listened to a few clips posted on line that had a minute or two of his remarks, but the entire speech gives the full context.
