A UBI-like program in Indonesia reduced deforestation by 30%. A new 2-yr pilot will evaluate how rainforests can be saved by UBI by directly reducing Indigenous people's poverty. Early result: "Trees are no longer being cut down; people are preserving the trees."

This tiny spot, once shown a little care, has transformed itself. I can't believe the way that the creatures have returned & the spirit of the place has brightened, when I've only changed five metres of riverbank. It's the best work I've ever done.
