The best contribution the US ever gave the world was the notion of a National Park, The idea that pristine, beautiful, unique works of nature's art would be protected and enjoyed for generations is American to its core. They are now under attack & he won't stop there - our public lands are crucial

Are other nations outraged by #Trumps comments on annexing Gaza and turning it into a resort? What are the leaders of Egypt, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Iran saying? This proposal will only spark violence towards the US. This is illegal and wildly irresponsible. #FreeGazaNow

I have conflicting thoughts on the idea of #calexit. For one, I abosolutley love California and I am proud of my state. I see myself as a Californian before I consider myself an American. But, I live in a border town, with NV. Theoretically, how would CA or the USA impose an international border?

All LGBTQIA bars in this country should immediatley institute a policy barring and banning anyone who voted republican in 2024 - when bouncers scan their IDs they should ask who you voted for and if you stammer, protest or resist you should be denied entry. Republicans are not welcome in our spaces.

I'm so tired of disasters in California being so politicized...thousands of people have lost their entire livelihoods and some even their lives yet the tangerine tyrant and his fascist minons feel empowered to kick California down when shes clearly hurting. What a disgrace to America.

Is it so unheard of that the CEO assassin is conservative and maybe even MAGA himself? I don't think so because yet again the right proves they are more violent and less tolerant than the left, period. Healthcare may be a corrupt industry but true liberals are not going to kill Insurance Co CEOs.

You can both NOT have sympathy for the UHC CEO who was assassinated and be horrified that such a brazen attack occurred. I have very little regard for the man and could care less that he died...but murder is not the answer. That being said, I hope the assassin evades capture, for obvious reasons.

Seriously, Democrats....stop talking about Hunter Biden. MAGA and Trump are the enemies. Trump will, assuredly, commit as many atrocities in office as he can and we're complaining about the precedent Hunter Biden sets? Take off those rose colored glasses and stare down at the reality before us.

The CA/PNW atmospheric river is wild...the California Nevada River Forecast Center reported that Santa Rosa received almost 4 inches of rain in 24 hours and is at a whopping 325% of normal for the water year. Uh...how are the Napa and Russian Rivers holding up?

Some silver lining news - 2 of the uncalled house races in CA are trending democratic - Adam Gracy trails John Duarte by 351 and Derek Tran is 397 votes ahead of Michelle Steel. There are still 10s of thousands of ballots to count but these would be Dem flips if they succeed!
