May 25 marks five years since George Floyd, an unarmed Black man, was killed by a White police officer in Minneapolis. The officer, Derek Chauvin, was found guilty on charges of murder and manslaughter and sentenced to more than 20 years in prison. 🧵⬇️

We released a new report yesterday looking at the pressures teens face, their future aspirations, and how they see the experiences of boys and girls at their school. Among many important findings: 60% of teen girls - vs. 46% of boys - say they plan to attend a 4-year college. pewrsr.ch/4kKMHRC

Important takeaway from our new @pewresearch.org report: Compared with women, men don't report feeling lonely more often or that they have fewer close friends. But men turn to their networks less often for social connection and emotional support.

New from @pewresearch.org: Half of U.S. workers are highly satisfied with their job overall, with only 30% saying they're highly satisfied with their pay (down from 34% last year). Among those who are dissatisfied with their pay, the top reason given is that it hasn't kept up with inflation.
