Not surprising in the least. DOGE has been targeting regulatory agencies that stand in Elon's and other tech billionaires way and make things more difficult for them from the beginning.

EXCLUSIVE: A whistleblower tells Congress and NPR that DOGE may have taken sensitive labor data and hid its tracks. "None of that ... information should ever leave the agency," said a former NLRB official.

DOGE is about privatizing the government on behalf of contractors like Elon Musk. From our latest print issue: prospect.org/power/2025-0...
Rule by Contractor
DOGE is not about waste and efficiency—it’s about privatization.

Trump and Elon sure have targeted a lot of regulatory agencies designed to protect the Americans they proclaim to be helping make great again...

Stop absorbing the constant barrage of bullshit and start looking into the actions that are actually being taken.

Trump and Musk are slowly building their case—with lies and lunacy, per usual—for the martial law declaration they were _always_ headed toward.

(And it takes 67 votes to impeach, not 60—but Musk has never cared about accuracy with numbers, or for that matter anything else.)

What impact has DOGE's $1 limit had on how SSA staff do their job?

Examples from just one local office:

• Can't pay to shred documents with PII
• Can't buy death certs to verify if users have died
• Can't provide ASL interpreters
• Running out of paper and toner

If you worked for 18F and got fired, Group together to start a consulting company.

It’s just a matter of time before DOGE needs you to fix the mess they inevitably create.

They will have to hire your company as a contractor to fix it. But on your terms.

I’m happy to invest and/or help
