there are definitely very annoying aspects to this website but i have to be honest, a lot of people’s complaints can easily be solved by following people who post good instead of post bad

One benefit of having an abysmally low prescription is I can kind of just turn off seeing by taking off my glasses. The lack of clear visual information is relaxing.
The problem is I can’t tell if I’m accidentally making eye contact with someone 💔

Actually. Left/red being middle school and right/purple being high school I feel like you can already see the shift happening 😭
Like my art has fairly obviously veered harder into messiness and emotion rather than the clean repetitive patterns of zentangles—but it still like 100% started there. Still fond of how in middle/highschool I could cover my whole forearm. I’m not as good at this kind of structure anymore though

Like wow my entire abstract at style exists basically because my 5th grade class had a guest speaker who talked about mandalas and zentangles. It’s kinda weird to think I was drawing those at the same time I was drawing comics of me and my friend’s Minecraft skins
