Un documentaire sensible qui aurait pu s'appeler "Les Sables du temps". Le passé nous happe dans ses sables mouvants et nous somme de le faire revivre, pour honorer sa mémoire. La petite souris incarne une sorte de guide à travers les méandres du temps. Merci pour ces souvenirs émouvants Jordan. 🐁

Prince of Persia 2: The Shadow and the Flame.

The game that made my mom go "ooooooh that's beautiful".
Le héros se battant au sabre sur un mince pont de cordes et de planches au dessus d'un gouffre dans une vaste grotte. Dans un palais en ruine, le héros arrive tranquillement dans une pièce où git un squelette. En hauteur, une épouvantable tête volante hurle, découvrant des dents acérée. Le héros n'a aucun moyen de se défendre. Il va mourir. Le héros, sur un fier et blanc destrier, franchit un précipice. On voit en contrebas un fleuve couler dans un désert de dunes, et un mystérieux palais ressemblant à la tour de Babel. Sur un pont reposant sur des statues de diables, le héros combat vaillamment des guerriers à masque d'oiseau. A l'arrière-plan, un relief en pierre révèle une prophétie.

Very cool story about the Prince of Persia, and Broderbund/computer gaming's early years. I never got a chance to work on a Prince of Persia game at Broderbund, but The Last Express was a masterpiece, and I do recall the initial demo for Prince of Persia in 3D.

If I could tell you I would let you know. While rumors fly, and are debunked, and grow, I wonder too, and in much the same way: When will the Sands of time begin to flow? It's not that the development is slow, Just that details are under NDA. If I could tell you I would let you know. One day they’ll give the green light: "It's a go! The trailer drops tonight--so post away!” Then can the Sands of time begin to flow; Then I will tell you everything I know.

Je viens de passer 4 heures au lit à lire Replay sans pouvoir le lacher. Je l'avais acheté l'été à Aviles après vous avoir écouté, mais c'était resté sur la pile de lecture. Cette nuit je dormirai mieux en me rappelant que malgré ce monde, il y a des choses qui valent le coup. Merci.
