Their sinking inspired a great Gordon Lightfoot song.
In the century leading up to 1975, nearly 6000 freighters went down in the Great Lakes.

The Edmund Fitzgerald was the last.

The last. In 50 years, not a single commercial freighter has been lost in the Great Lakes.

Why?

It's NOAA. Of course it's NOAA.

Actions Speak Louder Than Words: Governor Hobbs Tours The White Mountain Regional Medical Center and Celebrate Clean Energy Initiatives in Tucson
Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs may not be the most charismatic Chief Executive the Grand Canyon state has ever had but unlike her immediate Republican predecessor Doug Ducey (an individual that also lacked the charisma gene,) people should judge her strength by her deeds on delivering for Arizonans and putting people first proving the old axiom that actions speak louder than her words.

Second - "Dr. Makary listed 'divorce' alongside well-documented symptoms like mood swings & hot flashes" - correlation does not equal causation.
No, HHS, menopause does not in fact cause divorce and death, but tell us more about how great you are at women's health. @juliannemcshane.bsky.social and I wrote about how they somehow managed to mess up what should have been good news on HRT with weird claims. www.motherjones.com/politics/202...
