Great event and great swag by @delawarednrec.bsky.social as always! It’s nice to see what can be accomplished when local, state, federal, and community partners work together post disaster.

“Efforts are underway to review the federal role in disaster response. But FEMA’s responsibilities have not changed. Recent FEMA workforce reductions may reduce how effective a federal response could be in future high-impact disasters.”

FEMA canceled the EM Hi-Ed Symposium. Ridiculous, infuriating, etc. We move on.

In its place, we will have an EM Hi-Ed Colloquium June 3-4. It is completely virtual and free!!

*Note that if you submitted a presentation to FEMA Hi-Ed you will need to resubmit it for the Colloquium. #BlueSky
