Democracy depends on people organizing to make sure their voices are heard and respected. I’m glad to see this happening at Villanova. How can we support similar organizing everywhere about any important issue?

Keep watching what happens, friends. If things actually go in the right direction, don't forget what you saw in Minneapolis. It's an instruction manual. A guide book on how to organize in the face of odds that only seem overwhelming. Remember what the people did there and get ready to do the same.

Just an observation and question: Lots of folks in the communities I work with say "ISIS" when they're talking about ICE. It's not intentional. It's a slip, but they consistently make this slip. Why do you think this specific slip keep happening?

1. Your voice still matters. Keep using it!
2. Whether the administration knows what it's doing or not, it sure seems like it doesn't know what it's doing

Wiping out providers for mental health care and addiction treatment is the wrong approach. Also, remember when they erroneously tried to say that HUD shouldn't address homelessness by providing shelter because mental healthcare and addiction treatment were what's needed?
