The collaboration between SHOPFIRES and NEUCLOUDS will be out THIS Friday 21st. The song 'This Is Not What We Were Hoping For' is a 3 minute 80s indie pop anthem. I'd be delighted if you gave it a little listen.

The first episode of my radio show is on untidyradio.com at 7pm. It's just 45mins & is a bit of a road test for future episodes. I'm playing some indie pop, a bit of post-punk, and trying out an Evan Dando joke. I wrongly claim something happened in 1859 when it happened in 1849. Post-truth radio.

Great stuff, thanks very much, Iain. Very cool company to be in. And really pleasing since there are 6 live tracks on the upcoming album from a 1987 show when we supported The Membranes... full circle!

I have a new album on the way 👀

It's called Feebling and it's me without the full band sound. I borrowed a flute and a bag of percussion from my neighbours and went full DIY.

Mixed and mastered by @flamingjangle.bsky.social + out in a couple of weeks.

Do bear with my kitsch videos in the runup...

The next issue of my In The April Sun zine is v. v. nearly done.

I think it's gonna run to 56 pages this time, and 51 pages are finished, bar a gargantuan proof-read.

As a teaser, here is one page of the six-page review of @glasgoespop.bsky.social
