Photo of a small abode style church located in the Picuris Pueblo in New Mexico. The church is partly obscured by an adobe wall which surrounds the front area of the church. There is a small graveyard inside the wall. A few crosses can be seen sticking up behind the wall. The print displays the rough edges typical of coating this process with a brush.

A warm tone salted paper print. An old tree stands by the edge of a pond. A.limb of the tree extends downward into the water. The print is made using an historical photographic process from the mid 1800s. The paper is sized with salted water and after drying a silver nitrate solution is applied.
