It’s time to build.

We need more energy.

We need more jobs.

We need more opportunity and lower costs for working families.

Let’s stop attacking clean energy and start creating #union jobs that power America’s future.

Today in labor history: August 1, 1938

In Hilo, Hawaii police used tear gas, bayonets, and riot guns to violently attack 200 unarmed peaceful union protesters, injuring 50.

The Hilo Massacre was a calculated act of anti-union repression.

This is labor history.

A union card turns hard work into real opportunity.

It’s a trade with pride.

It’s college without debt.

It’s a path with power.

It’s a lifeline.

That’s what a real opportunity looks like.

UNIONS keep the American dream alive.

While energy demand soars for #AI and #datacenters, the Trump admin is attacking clean energy.

They’re driving up #energy costs, slowing innovation, and killing thousands of #LiUNA jobs.

It’s dragging America backward in a race we can’t afford to lose.

Solar, wind projects on US lands will get extra scrutiny
President Donald Trump's administration said on Thursday that decisions related to solar and wind energy projects on federal lands will be reviewed by Interior Secretary Doug Burgum's office to end what calls preferential treatment for renewable energy sources.

Immigrants commit violent crimes at far lower rates than U.S.-born citizens.

Mass deportations don’t fight crime, they instill fear and divide the working-class.

This isn’t justice. It’s class warfare.

Know the facts. Challenge the narrative.

They got richer.
CEOs got raises.
You got… nothing.

Productivity up.
Profits up.
Your paycheck? Flat.

Why?
They attacked unions.
Then kept everything.

Keep you divided.
Keep you replaceable.
Keep you quiet.

Fight back.
#Organize.
Take it back.

Union jobs don’t just build projects, they build middle-class lives.

They’re how a parent puts food on the table.

How dignity is kept on the jobsite and in the home.

How a kid from a working-class family gets a shot.

They build futures.

The Americans with Disabilities Act was signed into law.

The #ADA was a #CivilRights milestone that expanded rights, access, and dignity for millions while making workplaces more inclusive, innovative, and just.

Today in #LaborHistory: #BlackThursday — June 21, 1877

10 Irish coal miners were hanged by the state.

Their crime? Daring to organize.

Their trials? Bought by coal bosses.

Their execution? A warning shot to every worker who ever fought back.

#DavisBacon wages don't just pay our members better. It's an important tool to prevent non-union contractors from undercutting our signatories & exploiting construction workers. Without Davis-Bacon, it would be a race to the bottom, with only unscrupulous contractors winning. #LIUNA

Prevailing wage is the real local rate—wages, benefits, and training—that must be paid on government-funded projects.

No undercutting. No shortcuts. Just fair pay.

To the fathers, like mine, who taught us to work hard and stand for what’s right:

Thank you.

The best dads don’t just pass down tools or toughness.

They pass down a belief that no one should struggle alone.

That dignity and strength are meant to be shared.

In June of 1912, Massachusetts passed the first minimum wage law in the country.

It wasn’t perfect, but it was a start.

Progress comes when working people get organized and demand it.

Keep fighting. Keep building the future.

Don’t let anyone tell you it can’t be done.

INCREDIBLE and INSPIRING turnouts across the country today.

Keep the momentum into 2026. Into the campaigns. Into the voting booths.

Collectively, ordinary people do extraordinary things.

That’s how this country was built.

That’s how we will save it.

11 years married to my best friend.

We’ve grown, chased adventures, supported each other, and somehow look better now than we did back then.

Grateful for her love and strength—and for making it possible for me to fight for working people.

Happy anniversary. I love you.

This country was built on protest not silence.

The Boston Tea Party was a protest.

The Civil Rights Movement was a protest.

Progress has always come from people who organize against injustice.

Protest is the foundation of America.

Tensions are rising across the country and Trump is pouring gasoline on the fire.

This is personal.

If you work for a living, if you believe in dignity, fairness, or democracy, you’re in his crosshairs.

We have to speak up before it’s too late.
