Long ago, a group of soldiers refused to kill and shattered their weapons upon this stump. The act caused the stump to become a shrine to Eldath, goddess of peace.
One of my players is a cleric of Eldath, she was encouraged to visit here when she killed a bunch of bandits and felt remorse for it.

Made a magic item for one of my dnd players, the Gladewarden's Flail
The handle is a unicorn's horn, and the head is a smooth, crescent-shaped chunk of pale moonstone polished to a gleam. The two pieces are lashed together with enchanted ivy cords woven together with hairs of a unicorn's mane.
