Threads is irredeemably bad. I can't think of a single positive thing to say about it.

Not an especially great example, but last night Maryland BB won by 71(!). I search for "Maryland" on Twitter, I get jokes and commentary and discussion and memes about the game.

Here? I get... Maryland politics. And photography.

Something I've always liked about Twitter is that when something fun happened, you could (kind of still can, but it's significantly degraded) search for that thing and see people talking about it.

Feels like bluesky is still too niche/patchy for that.
