Magnificent. I am well and truly humbled, Sire!.

I can see that Scotland HT dressing room even now as Mr Shakespeare sits at the side, making notes ..🤣

His conclusion?

Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown 👑
In fact, I'm now convinced Shakespeare was writing about a rugby match all along

Best thing about Scotland selection is going to be seeing McBeth romping over from 20 metres, on the double dummy scissors ✂️

Which is going to be forever known as...

....The Scottish Play.

Apparently Ashman has a neck injury - perhaps caused by raising his arm a bit too high when throwing in? 🤨

I've only seen it in one place, however IF it's true that Kinghorn is flying back to France for Sunday's Toulouse game, I am utterly at a loss.

Just sincerely hope it's not accurate.

And now.

The weather forecast.

Just the 6.5 percent then..

Don't mind if I do..

....See you on the other side 😲🤦‍♂️

Interesting, given our lineout woes, that Hiddleston has stayed with the Scotland squad after playing for Scotland A on Friday night.

Not saying he'll make the 23, but bit of pressure on the current pair much needed.

If it was me, he'd at least be on the bench!

If you think Scotland are in a bad place right now (you're not wrong!!) - consider, for a moment, Ireland.

Even 12 months ago, surely unthinkable that their three sides, Ireland , Ireland A and Under 20s, this weekend, would ship a total of 138 points.

A cause for concern too.

Thoroughly deserved by Italy.

Which says as much about Scotland as a thousand words could say.

If I was Gregor Townsend, I'd get that Newcastle contract signed before they change their mind. 🤷‍♂️

Need to get quicker ruck ball, static start from Scotland.

Innacuracy at the lineout not helping.
February 7, 2026 at 2:16 PM
Great to see our Under 20s put on a performance like that away in Italy.

Control and flair in tandem.

Terrific start for the new coach.

17yr old Jake Dalziel, already having spent time with GB 7s, so much variety in his game already.

We are going to hear a whole lot more of that name in future.

Seems Jack Dempsey, who was an injury doubt originally for tomorrow against Italy, missed the Captain's Run today.

Doesn't sound great

Tonight all about France, electric, thrilling.

Might seem harsh, but Ireland simply outclassed.

They won't be the last team to suffer that fate this season against France, but decline is evident.

Prendergast reminds me of a young Finn Russell, full of promise but a lot of maturing still to do.

Strange starting best rugby tournament on earth on a Thursday. 🏉

Can't get a handle. Conditions sure to play a big part. And which France, which Ireland, turn up?

Omission of Alldritt might just allow Irish back row to create chaos.

Loss of Aki (own fault) allow French backs to make hay.

🤔🤔🤔

About 1.25 in, Judy recalls how she was at a party at Woodstock, and eavesdropped while Dylan wrote this iconic song.

And then she delivers the finest version I've ever heard.

Gorgeous.

I knew the record wasn't great, but ⭕ is the factual stat.

Trump recommending holidays to Gaza.

Moon men indeed. 🌛

But on a sadly serious note, is this really the world people want?

Pitiful how low we've stooped.

Townsend on Scotland 6N prospects:

"We know the opportunity is there for us," said the head coach. "The opportunity might not be there in a year's time or two years' time..."

Hope it's out of context, referring to older players rather than the team.

Otherwise, papering over the cracks we are. 🤷‍♂️

Mehman 4.15. Mehmar 6.15.

Both at Dundalk tomorrow.

Mingle with a little subterfuge about 16.15 and 18.15. 🤨

How betting slips used to be! 🤷‍♂️
