I'm muting this entire monstrosity because this platform is filled with insufferable people. Being one of them I know how they operate, so that's just drama I don't want to deal with because I think some leave their media literacy at the door.

Thank you for coming to my TED talk. Time to ghost out.

A lot of these folks, for all the ironic use of presumptuousness I direct at them, have very good politics and wear them on their sleeves with their projects. They're good peoples, but I just happen to think the way they approach art from certain artists to be, pardon my french, horseshit.
February 8, 2026 at 6:04 PM
I hate that's how art is consumed with these people and how it is now propagated to those who watch their sermons.

I don't know. This is just a string of incoherent thoughts which start out with lyrical prose then progressively got worse. It's just frustration put to word over media consumption.

Don't be fooled by these prophets, they lead you astray. They're nincompoops. Dullards. Can't be saved in the editing.

Think for yourself. Explore the art. The prophets did and I found their conclusions lacking. They don't disagree with the art, they disregard the artist. It's terrible. It's wrong.

Superman is a symbol of hope, the measure of human's quality, which can be great indeed. To put it in marketing terms, he's the new punk rock. Why does the most powerful fascist like him?

Because all art can appeal to every group. From anarchists, like me, to rotten fascists like administration.
February 8, 2026 at 5:49 PM
They cherry pick it, like they do every other piece of media. They find the bits they like and make it own. Trump put his ugly mug over Superman's body. Does that make Gunner's film, and more importantly, Gunster himself an illiterate dum himbo whose art appeals to fascists?

Of course not.
February 8, 2026 at 5:45 PM
Don't worry about what others take away from the film. In every aspect fascists are morons, which is why they're fascists. They like to be told what to do and what to think. Why doesn't that extend to media literacy?
February 8, 2026 at 5:43 PM
Check out the film yourself. Your opinion will be colored by the youtuber and you'll go into it with that baggage, but at least you can say "yeah, I agree with them and this is why". You experienced it for yourself. You thought about it yourself.

It's liberating. You broke away from the gospel.
February 8, 2026 at 5:39 PM
They seem to think that there is an objective quality to a piece of art separate from their opinion instead of it just being a way they experienced it.

"Check out this video" is not discussion. I don't care about some youtuber who told you what to think, I want to know YOUR thoughts.
February 8, 2026 at 5:37 PM
Personally, I think the people who voice these truths are illiterate dums. Not because they have different opinions than me but because they have the exact same opinions as the person they heard it from.

It's uncritical regurgitation, enforced by some malformed memory of a thing they once saw.
February 8, 2026 at 5:34 PM
The character arc has been really fascinating to see. I wonder where it goes from here. Maybe he'll become a guy who had some good ideas that mostly failed to execute on. After that? Okay, he made a good film we didn't want at the time.

Or will it regress after the next prophet voices their truth.
February 8, 2026 at 5:32 PM
So where does that leave Hack Snider? Did he fall backwards into that position? Did he do it wrong? Should he have told his story to Zod's snapped neck?

Perhaps it was a mistake to put faith in the audience, be a real objectivist and make his POV the truth, at the expense of others.
February 8, 2026 at 5:24 PM
The world doesn't bend to his will, like other adaptations, not is he universally loved. He is right in his heroism, like the world is right in its skepticism... and fear. The film makes no judgement, one way or another, it only shows how things arrived there.
February 8, 2026 at 5:20 PM
Superman in a realistic world with realistic reactions to the unknown and being swayed by propaganda? He himself expressing frustration and doubt while maintaining his empathy and selflessness. His heroism.

He is the main character of his own story. Protagonist is being conflated with objectivist.
February 8, 2026 at 5:17 PM
What's the root cause? 300? Spartan propaganda? Easy to identify the fascists by those who wear the helmet as an emblem. These people take away from the art what they want to see, same those who decry Snydo. Strip away the ideology, what's the difference?

The message is spread the same way.
February 8, 2026 at 5:13 PM
A true dolt. Devoid of substance and value, other than to mock and act as warning. Beware the Sniderino, he appeals to the fascists. By mistake, perhaps, but he's the useful dope. Guilty by association.

A religious doctrine made up, to act as a guideline. Object truth, to be repeated.
February 8, 2026 at 5:10 PM
Its teachings are repeated, uncritically, to bring comfort and community. Teaching not of understanding and kindness, but judgement and isolation. He's the devil, to be spurred, and everything he touched is wrong.

Fell butt backwards into thematic meaning, if any. Nice visuals without meaning.
February 8, 2026 at 5:07 PM
With the Snydster, the discourse moved from objectivist fascist to himbo illiterate dum. An improvement but one that's still false, aimed at a group who hasn't seen his films or has done so once years ago.

It's the new gospel. The Snyderstan Reformation, breaking away from the established faith.
February 8, 2026 at 5:04 PM
I do like other films quite a lot, obviously. I can talk about films at length. Politics? Sure, but there are people who are more in the know of electoral failings to talk indepth about them. But not here.

I like to react to a certain niche of discourse that's truly fascinating and reactionary.
February 8, 2026 at 5:00 PM
I don't post on here often and it seems like it's the "Zachariah Snider" discusser account. Truthfully, it's kinda what I like talking about on here since I find the subject matter fascinating.

Not even George Lucas get this level of... presumptuousness.

Piece of filth zionist pigs.

Fools, you're shouting artistic integrity for a game that cut out a major squad mate, who is tied into a major portion of the game, then sold it as separate DLC.

Embarrassing times for the enthusiast press. The value I held for them crumbled to dust during that time.
January 10, 2026 at 7:23 PM
For some reason I just thought about the Mass Effect 3 ending crapshoot. The amount of folks irritated at that junk ending and the endless pundits bending over backwards to defend that horrible trash on the grounds of "artistic integrity".

A lot of those people really were dupes.
January 10, 2026 at 7:21 PM
It just means you're the most power trans woman on this platform. Congrats!

However, I'm sorry to report I'm against monarchy in general, though. So we must be enemies.
December 23, 2025 at 4:49 PM
Folks who advocate for 90-minute runtimes are not serious people. It reduces a film to content you consume before you doctor's appointment or something.

"Films really shouldn't be more than 90 minutes" *proceeds to binge watch 4 hours of a show*
