I may have said it before, but Marley’s character is making a good legal point. He’s not denying a murder of the deputy. He is pointing out that his violence was limited to the sheriff, and giving evidence that this was a just response. The sheriff, still alive, is evidence of his restraint.

I was puzzled by the verbal slips In “Nuremberg.” Michael Shannon’s character says citizenry when he means citizenship, death penalty when he means capital offence, and a couple of others I forget. Is this an attested thing with that guy, or a script issue?

It’s great to be so proud of our president and so optimistic about his successor.
President Michael D Higgins and his wife Sabina were greeted by cheers and gifted roses as they left Áras an Uachtaráin for the last time.

A guard of honour was formed by members of the Sanctuary Runners who wanted to show their appreciation for his support.

John C. Reilly on working with Daniel Day-Lewis on Gangs of New York:
‘He invited me to his house & he was so lovely & our kids were playing & I thought I got him all wrong.
Then on Monday I saw him on set & said ‘thanks for Saturday’ & he said ‘Fuck off, Jack’ using my character’s name.’

I've heard back from one party leader and it's obvious they're still reserving the right to bail on the progressive coalition if that seems a more likely path to power.
Please reinforce the progressive unity sentiment by emailing a few of them asking for more unity #spéirgorm
Now the Áras campaign is over, we cant afford to forget the Garda vetting story. We still don't have assurances that this information wasn't leaked by An Garda Síochána to harm someone. This is a criminal offence. AGS have form here and must be prevented from returning to those practices #spéirgorm
