Seeing this weird amount of “everyone else hates Americans now” discourse and I can confidently say, without examining the relationship Native Americans have to this country which was stolen from them, and not examining the people stolen from their homes in Africa to build it, is simply clownery.

So 2026 didnt start the best way for me. Before 2025 ended, we were served a 90 day notice to evict our apt. No reason stated and when asking my mother for details, I never really got a straight answer. I'm finally opening up about my struggles for the last 3 years.

I have thoughts on the gravity/levity ratio at tables that boils down to 2 things

1. Don’t just talk about combat/rp in session 0; talk about gravity/levity too

2. Recognise the tone of the system; don’t try to be Tolkien in Honey Heist or Danny DeVito in Candela Obscura

I may be in the minority, but for me, chaos and shenanigans are not the goal at a #ttrpg table. I'm not against humor, but I love serious stories and games with stakes, and players and characters who take the secondary world and situations seriously.

This is fucking grim. Somebody invented a white guy, an "IT professional" named Edward Crabtree, who stopped the Bondi shooting and spread it all over the internet, which was picked up by AI agents and slop aggregation sites.

The real hero is a fruit stand owner named Ahmed el Ahmed.

Stick figures are better than AI. Tell me what’s going on in this Daggerheart session – wrong answers only.
A collection of stick figures, going from right to left because Jien didn’t think things through. On the far right is part of a hut with a fire inside. Below the house is a roughly shaded area with three stick figures inside. Two (one with pointed ears and one with horns) are smaller, sad-faced, and standing in front of the third, who is larger with X’s for eyes and a large black hole in the middle. To the left of the divider and in front of the hut are five angry-faced pointy-eared four-legged stick figures (one larger than the other four) facing off against two more stick figures, one with wings and one with large ears and a whip.
