Went to see Tom A Smith at @thefirestation.bsky.social Parade Ground last Friday. Great gig and 2 great supports. Tom's newer tunes shows he's really coming of age now. Dave Stewart joined him on guitar for 1 song(awesome) 😍 @thefirestation.bsky.social really is a great asset to Sunderland 😃

Great Saturday at @theglasshouseicm.bsky.social for more of the Proms. Fergus McCreadie on the concourse was as good as ever then the Bach and Mendelssohn Prom in Sage One was top notch. We've been truly spoilt this past weekend but JADE and the RNS conducted by Robert Ames was for me so special 😍

Went to the @safc.com match yesterday. Should have been an easy win for us against Swansea but it's got to be said, we were dreadful and were lucky to get away with only losing 0-1 😳

Was back at The Glasshouse Friday to see The Halle Orchestra with Boris Giltburg playing Rachmaninoff's 3rd piano concerto and Shostakovich's 5th Symphony. Mind blowingly awesome 😍

Off to Sunderland #FireStation tonight to see RNS playing Schubert, Mozart and Beethoven. Tbh, I really struggle to watch an orchestra without a conductor and standing up!!! What's all that about? I'll give it one last try though.

Went to #Glasshouseinternational to see Kamasi Washington last Saturday. Brilliant musicians but much of the night didn't really work for me. Maybe just me then 🤔
