I took first place in Royal City Literary Arts Society's writing contest for my story "The Homewrecker".

"This is a powerful multilayered tale of a house personified as the black-hearted other woman..."

Many thanks to the judges who had the tough task of reading many amazing entries.
Carol Burnett played this role on Broadway in 1995.

I'm hope to bring those comic vibes to my role alongside an amazing cast and crew.

Moon Over Buffalo runs February 19th thru March 8th. Vagabond Players at The Bernie Legge Theatre.

Today is all about poetry. Sometimes you just need that palate cleanser, to spend the day in beauty.

It's going to be a rainy walk to the theatre for tonight's rehearsal, but for now it's a perfect day to stay in and work on a spooky, dark story.

A little bit of wardrobe fun for New Year's Eve 😆 🥂

2025 was a vintage year, a full-bodied glass of creative living through writing, theatre, travel, new opportunities, changes, challenges, and a few unexpected spills along the way.

2026 is lingering in the vat, soaking up the skin of last year, and aging into a new vintage.

Happy New Year 🥂

Counting my blessings 💞

Holding gratitude for a truly exceptional year and celebrating life.

Sending love from my heart to yours and hoping you hold space for your own celebration no matter how small you deem it - it's significant because it's yours ⭐

Our Christmas morning movie. It doesn't need to be drawn from the Santa hat. It's always the same classic.

A Christmas Carol, 1951, with the brilliant Alastair Sim. Bah, humbug!

Happy Christmas Eve 🎄🎁🥂

Wishing all a safe, happy and healthy season as we say goodbye to another year and slide quietly into a new one.

Wishing all a very Happy Yule, Happy Christmas or anything you honour in this time before a new calendar year.

In each of our individual worlds, there's little things that can light up the darkness - so find them and let them give you the strength to push through to the light of a New Year🎄🥂❤️

The winter solstice ❄️

A time of transition, to cast off the energy that no longer serves you, time just for you, to breathe and recharge.

Light a candle, welcome back the light, embrace the energy of a new season, awaken your dreams, and hold gratitude for the year that has passed.

Happy Yule.

First read for Moon Over Buffalo.

I am thrilled to be playing the role of Charlotte Hay, a Broadway actress who, according to her husband George, is apparently the world's oldest ingenue 😆😆

Time for a little romance, a little swashbuckling and a lot of mayhem.

I'm falling behind on my reading list due to revisions on one novel and research on another.

This afternoon, going to curl up on the couch with this literary classic while the rain beads the window.

Being in the arts is about owning our success and knowing our accomplishments were recognized because of one thing - we did our best work.

The countdown to Christmas movie draw is in full swing. We've watched classics like White Christmas and Meet Me In St. Louis, & favorites like A Christmas Story, Elf and The Santa Clause.

Tonight's pick, a triple feature of classic animated shorts, with the talents of Boris Karloff and Joel Grey.

Back on stage this winter with a fabulous cast and crew.

It was a tough audition process, so much talent in the room, I was in awe of my fellow thespians ❤️🎭

Details to come...

It's baking season 😄

I'm not usually a baker, but my husband started talking about it last night and I got inspired - orange zest shortbread drizzled with dark chocolate.
