I visited the apartment building ICE raided on Tuesday today. Story to come, but you can walk right in. Half of the apartments have no doors on them. Children's stuff abandoned in some flats. *Citizen* residents told me they were arrested and held for hours in zipties. This is America

In the alternate universe report I had a conversation with a business contact recently that causally remarked that the military occupation of DC was welcomed by residents and restaurants and nightlife were booming. This is what we are up against.

I live within a 5-7 minute walk to a nearby elementary school. I have neighbors that drive their children to school and pick them up by car instead of walking for under 10 minutes.
