The late Joe Ely at Calgary Folk Festival about ten years ago. We did a workshop together, then talked for ages about Texas, County Durham and how much we both loved Canada. I look star-struck. I was!

Thanks to everyone for supporting me in 2025. Thanks too for helping make my album “Oubliette” such a success. Looking forward to 2026, with solo gigs, Bad Pennies gigs, a tour with The Pitmen Poets, a trip to Canada with Keelo and the publication of novel no.5! And better times for us all.
