I used to think it was hard to understand how people can become so brainwashed to think it’s ok to kill children. Then I look at the atrocities across the world today and think, is this just our species? Are we really just a disgusting species? A lost cause or patriarchy? #psychology #psychat

The Liberals are pushing nuclear again – but the numbers haven’t changed. 😵‍💫

Nuclear is 2x the cost, decades away, & we’d already be at 96% renewables before 1x reactor could be built.

So let’s stick with what’s already working to deliver reliable, affordable power: renewables backed by storage.

“That,” he said, “would send a horrifying message to the rest of the world and the rest of the country.”

..and for beer lovers everywhere, growing crops, including hops will become affected by #climatechange. #auspol must, at a minimum, increase taxes on fossil fuel extraction for export. We need more independent in parliament who haven’t been bought by fossil fuel industry.
POV: When you learn that Australia taxes beer more than polluting gas exports

And the cherry on top? That gas is driving climate change and worsening extreme weather – no matter where it’s burned.
