My brother let me watch this back when I was probably way too young to be exposed to such things (as was his way 😂) so this will be my 46th viewing of this horror classic.

My mom knows sign language, but she is very, VERY resistant to actually using it to talk to me when I have to wear my headphones. She will speak out loud to me, even though she knows I can't hear a word she's saying.
I'm not deaf. I don't read lips. 😤
