Stephen Buffalo, a panelist, just said that the "desire to see separatism" "isn't going to work" because there were Treaties here before the province existed and the supreme court of Canada acknowledges these Treaties.

Another person silenced by McAllister who was trying to ask a question about how the proposed provincial police force would protect vulnerable communities that have been threatened by the UCP gov such as Queer, LGBTQ 2+ and trans citizens. What a joke!

McAllister just silenced a high school student asking about the impending teachers strike and said his parents should "turn him over a knee" - that is ludicrous language for a "moderator"!

The #APP seems to be quite a hot topic in the room! McAllister's super-scientific poll sounded like the 'nays' had it...but it's hard to tell from the screen because the room seems to be split front to back and I can't see the back...

The panel just got a great question about when the official pension survey results were going to be released...I imagine they will avoid answering that question...

Danielle Smith implied only about 800 people answered that survey - does anyone know the actual number?

A woman named Laurel got up and reminded the panel that they are using Albertan's money to run this panel, and we should be able to talk about whatever topic we want, not your 6 videos - she got a fairly loud reception...

Crowd was asked, by show of hand, who supported the question "should Alberta take a lead role in working with the other provinces to reform federal transfers and equalization" - apparently the 'yeas' took it. This seems on brand with how the AB Government has been eliciting feedback. #AlbertaNext

Danielle Smith just called the #AlbertaNext Panel a "crucial engagement process" - how crucial is it really if they're not even allowing people to ask questions about arguably some of Alberta's greatest challenges like education, health care, and the environment?

Holding the #Calgary #AlbertaNext Panel at Spruce Meadows feels intentional - make it far, make it rush hour, make it inaccessible...who exactly are they trying to hear from?

Silly Jimmy Kimmel. He should have just called for all homeless people to be killed and he’d still have a job.

Why does this feel more like a veiled attack on immigrants than a way to make "things better, faster, and more convenient for everyone"?

We have a premier in Alberta that has normalized using propaganda as a form of consultation. The #AlbertaNext Panel and its panelists are complicit in pushing a divisive agenda while ignoring our biggest problems like healthcare. Next Stop #Airdrie Sept 15th. Good Luck Airdrie! #abpoli #ABleg

The AB government is claiming to be ‘protecting’ girls, but it’s nothing more than a thinly-veiled attempt to cloak transphobia and misogyny under the guise of ‘fairness and safety.'

Just took my first #AlbertaNext 'survey' and I gotta say, to put it nicely, the survey questions are flawed...they are full of bias, imply agreement, don't actually collect real data...and being forced to watch that video before you answer is ridiculous.
