Hey, that’s me! What a fun conference. I learned so much and was honored to present alongside my super duper amazing coworker @sacornwell.bsky.social :)
Closing us out are @jess1et.bsky.social & @sacornwell.bsky.social in their fantastic collaboration in “From WC to Classroom: Tutors’ Experience as First-Time Teachers,” speaking on the transfer/transition from tutor to teacher, to a roomful of potential future educators. 👩‍🏫 🏫 🙌🏽

It was such a pleasure to present my poster at the #SoCalWCA2025 conference.

:) I met so many cool writing center people and had so much fun!
Last but not least, here is @jess1et.bsky.social’s poster of the writing instructor practice and possibilities: “Writing Tutor or Teacher? Why Not Both?” 📚🍏🍎

Endlessly in awe and in love with this incredible and moving poem — such needed work, please give it a read.
Last Syllable Issue III is online and it is glorious--a fine collection! It includes "Names," my recollection of a road trip Warren and I shared with a bunch of people--maybe half a milion of us--back in 1987. To remember what happened that day, you can find the poem here: lastsyllablelit.com/names.
