I came to Minneapolis to report on what's going on, and one of the main questions I showed up with is "just what is the scale of the resistance?" After all, we're all used to the news calling Portland a "war zone" or whatever when it's just some protests in one part of town.

I was kindly gifted a trial loaf of Dom's new focaccia recipe months ago and I still think about it often
My first recipe for the new year is not exactly health food: bubbly focaccia, slick with red chilli oil, and studded with briny capers. Worth relaxing the diet for though.
Recipe: Chilli crisp and caper focaccia
Salty, spicy, and brilliantly bubbly

This is an important example of how states punish people working against their interests, in solidarity with migrants, even when they act within the limits of the law. www.theguardian.com/world/2026/j...

NYC-DSA stands against Trump’s illegal war against Venezuela. Extractive wars have defined our lifetimes and we will not silently watch another begin. We know what follows from here - the enabling of a puppet government in the interest of big oil and the spread of US imperialism.
