The hardest part of the writing process isn’t completing a 90k word manuscript, or edits, or plotting. It’s definitely writing 250 words for a query letter that doesn’t sound totally insane.

Just received another full manuscript request. After the amount of rejections I've gotten, this feels like some cruel prank :,)

Me: I’m so tired.
Husband: Maybe stop staying up all night to read…
Me: And why would I do that?
