Can someone at #FedEx explain to me why this happens and why you don't give your customers a way to contact the shipping department? The business is open from 9am to 9pm EVERY DAY. There was no signature requirement, there is a box outside the door for quick delivery, and the door is unlocked.

Well… today I have my first DOGE subcommittee hearing along with a Judiciary hearing, all while DC is snowed in!
If I had normal coworkers & the country wasn’t going to hell lead by DOGE Douchebags, I’d say, “nothing to see here,” but something tells me, today is going to be pure insanity…

Calling your Congress person is still one of the most effective ways to push for change. Make sure you are only calling YOUR Congress person, and I would recommend calling their district office, not their DC office. You'll have a higher chance of actually talking with a staffer.

When I was a Hill staffer in 2009, a Dem trifecta was trying to pass universal healthcare. In response, Senate GOP released a memo detailing all of the tactics they in the minority could use to delay the effort as much as possible. I'm recirculating that 2009 GOP memo here. Take inspiration from it.

hey what happens when you suddenly remove a few percentage points of GDP from the economy? anything bad?
This is a constitutional crisis: the President doesn't have the power to cancel funds appropriated by Congress. Also, the math is insane; there is NO way to cut $4B/day by getting rid of "fraud". Cuts of that magnitude will dangerously undermine the core functions of government.
