I thought that was his recovery path? That it would be mid-February. Not saying I've got an inside track or anything, but that is what has been out there. Well, we're pretty close to/on mid-February.

Single digits away from relegation isn't the spot any of us want. On the up side, don't we get Madders in the next week or so? Midfield could look a helluva lot better, and keep us out of bottom three. Maybe? 🤞

We're back to the "I don't know what it is, but I know it when I see it" nonsense levels of censorship. Using the weakest and most subjective opinions to tell others what they can say/do.

Days after Washington Post laid off 300 journalists, publisher Will Lewis -- conspicuously absent during the notifications to those whose jobs were cut -- is stepping down. Attached is Lewis' memo to staff, courtesy of my NPR colleague David Folkenflik. READ: https://loom.ly/vZyjS90
This is really crucial in understanding today's right wing: it is an arena in which you can get attention, and become famous, without any skill or insight or knowledge. All you have to do is say outrageous shit.
So it's become a collection bin for all these failed, flailing narcissists.
Learned from the Posting Through It podcast just how many MAGA-era influencers turned to politics after failing at more glamorous pursuits — theater, comedy, fashion, TV, movies, music. Knowles, if I’m not mistaken, had dreams of Broadway.
Michael Knowles and the other Daily Wire chuds play act at being celebrities because it’s the thing they actually crave

As the House prepares to fight over how much of DHS to shut down, I encourage you to pick your favorite factoid from this @vermontgmg.bsky.social report on CBP/ICE criminality and send it to your MoC.
Even with the 5' 3.25" Itsy Bitsy Nazi sent back to his hole, it seems ICE actions haven't let up in Minneapolis. Who would have thought that Homan would also be a piece of shit.

I was wondering about this as well. There have been numerous cases of proposed mega-data-centers getting shut down this way. Why not these ICE proposals too? Feel like this should be pretty easy at this point to get public/local support.

To say this looks like shit is an understatement. Perhaps they can package it as a double-feature with Melania, and see how many just kill themselves in the theater. From what I understand, it would only be a few either way.

Don't believe a word out of this corrupt shitheel. He's been outspoken about assaulting colleagues, citizens, and anything else he's been instructed to dislike for many years.
Homan: "I begged for the last two months on TV for the rhetoric to stop. I said in March -- if the rhetoric doesn't stop, there is gonna be bloodshed. And there has been. I wish I wasn't right. I don't want to see anybody die."

Even under SCOTUS's dubious reasoning in Trump v. U.S., there is no scenario in which maneuvering billions of dollars to an offshore account to keep it out of reach from Congress and courts is an "official act." This is all criminal and impeachable.
Marco Rubio: "The oil proceeds are being deposited into an account that ultimately will become a US Treasury blocked account here in the US. We will say 'this is what this money can be spent on.' They will submit to us a budget request -- 'we want to use the money on these things.'"
