A place that needs to resist narrowing but remain open to the conversations it is yet to have and *needs* to have.
If we are going to meet this moment, closing spaces is not the answer. Opening, decentering, perspective and reconstruction based on empathy is.
We must ask ourselves why this (unprecedented) development is happening. What are the people saying? Are they taken seriously? Are we reflecting on this in our (legal) scholarship?
