Trump just said Republicans should “take over the voting and nationalize it.” That’s authoritarianism, full stop. The silence from elected Republicans is cowardice—and it’s dangerous heading into November.

A true crisis requires a shared and thoughtful understanding of the primary issue, and more often than not, that understanding is missing.

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

Why do media companies print obvious lies from the propagandists in the Trump admin as if that is the “other side” of the story when you have objective, irrefutable evidence to disprove it? Traditional norms/practices don’t work with this regime. Why do you spread their lies?

Here’s one video shared with us of the state-ordered execution. The man was beaten in the head with a gun, shot once, then shot five more times while on the ground. State-ordered executions continue.

The Americans Who Saw All This Coming—but Were Ignored and Maligned
Call them the Cassandras: the people—mostly not white and male—who smelled the fascism all over Trump from jump street. Why were they “alarmists,” and how did “anti-alarmism” become cool?

How do we know if these “ICE” agents in sweatshirts & masks are legitimate? The Minnesota assassin disguised himself as a police officer. Their desperate tactics are wrong, inhumane, & illegal.

I do feel like this isn't being talked about enough (by lawmakers). Rep. Goldman asks the right question: if what you're doing is lawful and above board, why are you hiding?
I haven't seen any other members of Congress taking about ICE (and whoever else is helping ICE) wearing masks and removing badges to hide their identity.

Call your Rep &. Senators! Ask them to talk about why ICE / DHS are hiding their identities!

I see we're back to wishful thinking in media coverage. So much of this feels like re-visiting 2016-2020 without lessons learned.

No, it's not falling apart. No, Musk is not truly out of government, just adjusting.

We can't confuse comforting lies with hope. Doing that in the past led us here.

Thanks to Donald Trump, the lab will close on April 15.
