With this latest mass shooting at Brown University, this might be a good time to mention that Bill Clinton’s assault weapons ban reduced mass shooting deaths by 43% - but after George W Bush & Republicans let it expire, mass shooting deaths spiked by 239%.

It's the guns!!! :(

That sums it up perfectly.

You're in the Trump administration, or you're a Republican in Congress. You consider yourself a decent person. You lack the nerve directly to contradict Trump. But you COULD post your own comment on Rob Reiner to make clear Trump wasn't speaking for you.

Has anyone done this?

DJT is repugnant and unfit for office. He has consistently degraded female reporters and women in general with no pushback.

His misogyny is on full display and not one Republican condemns him.

Republicans are a bunch of cowards and their silence is deafening.

And YES, “This is sick shit!”

How about "Mr. Trump’s attack lent credence to the widespread concerns that he lacks empathy and common decency"?

Speaking ill of the dead is controversial, particularly when it was a violent death. It’s edgy; it’s sensitive; best avoided in most cases, etc.

Baselessly making another person’s murder *about yourself,* and then approving of it, is a different thing. That is delusional, narcissistic, sociopathic.
