We'll see what happens. There is a lot of uncertainty. But as I said, its been around 27 years of dictatorship. A lot of venezuelans are hopeful and see this as at least a step forward, even if Trump is doing it for the wrong reasons

And all I'm trying to get across is that, yes, as a Venezuelan (and even more so for those still living there) this IS the first time there has been a sliver of hope for a better life.

I think there is a complex situation going on that can be hard to understand.
I agree that Trump intervening in another country's affair is seen as wrong and maybe legally it is. On the other hand, this is the one time someone has actually done something against Maduro (even if for his own gain)

Yes, Maduro himself does not conduct the violence. Same as Trump doesnt raid people's houses.

I have read the stuff im sending you and watched the videos. Youre telling me "they are not credible sources" and also that "they contradict what im claiming". You havent told me which part of my sources defends Maduro or claims that the crimes he committed are lies.
