@cathygellis.bsky.social is right; there's no way out of this that doesn't go through impeachment. It's that or the end of the American experiment. The courts weren't build to stop the types of abuse we are seeing from the executive.

Just to say the quiet part out loud, the point of having unelected judges in a democracy is so that *whether* acts of state are “legitimate” can be decided by someone other than the people who are undertaking them.

Looks like a Google and Microsoft AI issue that could make our students unable to comply with AI use prohibitions. What a mess.
I want to share my experience today with Google support, trying to get Gemini (their AI/plagiarism machine) turned off in my Google workspace account. That account is where I personally do all my work communication—I am an editor, and most of my work contracts explicitly ban any use of Generative AI
