Rubio is claiming that they did not need Congress permission because it was a law enforcement mission. The US is behaving as a global police state, extending its own arbitrary legal decisions to the whole world.

Exactly right.
This war and extra-judicial kidnapping is patently illegal and unconstitutional. Political leaders on both sides must condemn it. It’s not about whether Maduro is a tyrant but whether the US is still governed by laws and the Constitution. As if this morning, we are clearly not.

Switching to a Medicare-for-all type of healthcare system would align the United States with every other economically advanced country in the world. Republicans try to demonize this idea with the “socialism” bogeyman, but that name-calling is getting tired.

When Trump supporter Charlie Kirk got murdered, Trump demanded that the entire country pay its respects - and, in fact, Rob Reiner did pay his respects. When Rob Reiner gets murdered, however, Trump shows very little respect. It's Trump who has derangement syndrome.
