This year's NaScWriMo is off to a great start, by which I mean 90-odd minutes looking at baby names instead of hashing out the central theme, overall plot, or major character arcs of the premise that popped into my head earlier this week.

Another week of Hades 2 managed to dull my reaction to the narrative path the writers chose...but then I triggered the proper epilogue scenes with the Fates and Hecate.
I just don't think the story came together in the end, like, at all. It's a big letdown for an otherwise great gaming experience.

Unfortunately, I am just not vibing with the post-credits plot.

Rolled credits on Hades 2 in less than 74 hours of gameplay.
The game came out 2 weeks ago.
I accidentally turned Hades 2 into a second full-time job...you know, minus the fact that I didn't get paid for any of it.

Yes I am also playing Hades II completely sub-optimally (aka picking whatever rewards are going to help me complete Steam achievements asap, not make my build good), and yet I somehow lucked into my first Chronos victory in ~24 hrs of gameplay.
(Remember it took me 75 runs to do the same for Hades)

Starting a new barf draft for a novel (I have not even attempted to write a novel in...I want to say...10 years?) with 633 words about a snail having both the best and worst day of its life.
I'm not saying it's a *good* intro, but it's what I'm running with for now.

Just finished an hour and a half long battle with my meatsuit-wearing niece.
I don't know how many times I hit F8 before finally giving up on killing her as the Slayer, or how many times I hit F8 after.
But I am officially now daddy's favorite. Time to kill a giant brain, and then everyone else.

Wow. First time I'm finishing a BG3 campaign and not immediately starting another (mostly because it is almost 1am and I want to download patch 8 first)
