Don’t let the frogwater that’s boiling us alive let you skip over this: we murdered another country’s citizens in cold blood, and when their leader objected, we called him a drug dealer and cut off aid to his country. That’s freakish.
Petro objected to the US bombing a Columbian fishing vessel that had the emergency beacon on because they were broken down, that we subsequently bombed. One Columbian fisherman survived the attack.

This is the official US response to Petro's comments.

Working with @rowandurrant.bsky.social on ways to visualize the amino-acid table and better understand viral evolution.

We started with a two-by scheme for nucleotides (small square), where bond partners are horizontally adjacent and transition-connected nts are vertically adjacent.

Had a reasonably restful, reasonably fun, reasonably productive weekend. Biked to the gym this morning, not too early, had a nice bike ride in nice weather, and did gym stuff for an hour. Got to my desk around 10:30, and I'm feeling _so_ ready for another weekend.

Had an excellent time at this bioAsia event. I had no idea how big a deal exosomes and other extracellulal vesicles were. It was also fun to be grouped, even temporarily, with Dr. Buzás and Dr. Ochiya.
