Stop being misogynistic, my dude. That’s all we asked.

You can express your dislike of anything, it’s how you do it. You know that

A legitimate Titanic historian, too.
I don’t respect James Cameron in a “master filmmaker” kinda way, I respect him in a “he likes the first Resident Evil movie and thinks Alien Vs Predator was actually pretty good” kinda way

Also, people that sign up for F4W are hardcore fans. Why on earth are you trying to offer the vantage point of the mythical casual fan, instead of covering the aspects you know your audience likes.

Or, maybe you have smart critiques! You can do both. He used to do it all the time

That was utterly bizarre
That and picking something inconsequential like the fact that MJF wasn't in the Diamond Ring battle royal and that they changed the rules again (which they stated very clearly). And even when Dave points out why it's not a big deal, Bryan chooses that hill to die on.

Agreed. There’s flashes or small moments when he makes compelling points (like pointing out the insanity of neither company pushing young talent at the top of the card)
What kills me about Bryan is that I used to value his insight and criticism. I don't think whatever he's providing today is that

He would get so hung up on little things like this and entire shows would be deemed good or bad in his eyes only if he thought they provided enough context for a hypothetical fan he made up that watched less wrestling than him, as if he would know how they think. I finally had to cancel my sub

I like Bryan Alvarez and believe he's more than capable of providing valuable analysis to pro wrestling shows.

The constant bitching and moaning about video packages has to end, though. It's not remotely entertaining, if it ever was, and it's become an uninteresting, empty piece of criticism

It's not that he lost, it's that if booked by someone who cared about more than just photo ops at the White House, it could have been the culmination of a long feud where he put someone on the map, be it a babyface or a heel. Instead, his last opponent was determined by a lazy random TV tournament.

Any time you can have the Never Give Up guy actually give up in his last match, you gotta do it.
There’s too much focus on if Cena should have won or lost. I don’t think that’s the issue, and there’s compelling arguments for both results.

The issue is that the “storytelling company” consistently told a horrible story with zero direction (by their own admission!) and a bad ending

To be fair, it's the SELF-PROCLAIMED "storytelling company."

It’s also the execution of how he lost.

The books with the best storytelling have 60-point font, multiple ad inserts, and pictures telling you how to react at every step.
