#Gladiator2 isn't fit to lace the sandals of the first film, lacking the emotional heft of Scott's original, BUT Denzel Washington's towering performance is worthy of an Emperor's thumbs up alone, and the battles are bloody, brutal, and built for the biggest screen. ★★★
