It’s on Phil. I wonder whether he has the mentality to go on and be a true great. It’s certainly not a question of ability but something is holding him back.

He’ll be 25 in May. He should be primed to be the main man for both club and country, but I can’t see it at the moment.

The right wingers will love it. The rest of us will be, rightfully, appalled.

It’s very good and Gene is excellent in it, but it’s not one of my personal favourites. Plus, Night Moves is great and under seen.

Writing on the wall as soon as the first goal went in. Sunday league defending.

Nuance is always difficult to find after a defeat like that. A lot of folks probably just conflating the implosion with the overall, fairly decent performance up until 85. Which is not to excuse the circus of the last five minutes. Brain fade central.

Thought City rode their luck in first 15 minutes, then rallied and the match was fairly even until the 85th minute implosion. Top 4. FA Cup. Rebuild and go again next season.

Genuinely don’t know what to make of that team. Hope Ake’s hamstrings are up to it.

I think he might go with Phil over Savinho but I’m with you otherwise.

Few people pointed out that Pep just signed a new contract and is spending on new players but the silly sausage was having none of that. Were also still 4th 🤷🏻‍♂️

Speller from the football ramble.

I saw a prominent, non city, podcast host say that Pep’s biggest regret will not be taking the England job this summer and a new manager needs to come in to do the rebuild. Reactionary media personalities whip fans into a frenzy.
