Switch 2 performance issues are disappointing bc if it's struggling there then the Switch 1 version is gonna be a mess.
I previewed Octopath Traveler 0 on Switch 2 and Steam Deck for @rpgsite.net. I'm a bit disappointed in the Switch 2 version so far. It is a notable step down from the DQ remakes. Fantastic on Steam Deck so far though: www.rpgsite.net/news/18921-o...

Switch 2 performance issues are disappointing bc if it's struggling there then the Switch 1 version is gonna be a mess.
Absolutely love the team asano tradition of releasing a prologue demo with save data transferring to the full version.
I think metaphor also did this but this should be an industry standard for jrpgs because the fans are already going to buy it & newcomers can try low risk

Do video game studios not know you need to submit to get your stuff nominated? They've had this award for a few years and the best games never seem to get nominated and I'm assuming they're not submitting
Grammy nominations for best video game soundtrack have dropped, but notably don't include Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. On the other hand, jazz cover group 8-Bit Big Band is nominated in categories for jazz and best arrangement. gameinformer.com/2025/11/10/b...
