If you could choose how you die, what would you want?
I think I'd want it to be outdoors—in nature, sun on my face, crisp gentle breeze blowing.
I've often thought Lake Isabelle here in Colorado is where I'd want my ashes scattered. But I guess I could see spending my last moments there too.

Reframing hospice not as just the last stop or, worse, giving up, Deanna Cotten returns to the podcast with her husband to tell us all—from in-patient hospice care—about the joy of freeing her friends and family to just "love on her." ❣️

Living each day with gratitude comes from awareness
Needs to be said. The ad agency world had a bit of this for awhile and it was never not performative bullshit.
This is performative nonsense of “hardcore” tech nincompoops. They could put people in nearby hotels or Airbnbs for a lot less. It’s all cosplaying intense workaholism for the cheap seats and all for PR. Sleeping bags at work is simply dumb www.politico.com/news/2025/03...

Details of the arrangements at GSA offer a window into the lifestyle of DOGE workers.

This week's episode is bittersweet, as Cody and I learned that Rachel, a guest of the show last year, passed away, and we spend a few moments in remembrance of our good friend.
Rachel was full of life, laughter, and caring, and we're both deeply grateful we had the chance to know her. 💕🥲

Just because we look away from death doesn’t mean it isn’t there. It’s…uh…it’s always there.

None of us can choose to not die. But if we're lucky, we get to choose how we die. And if we're really, really lucky, others will help us make that final wish a reality. #hospice
