They could also cluster in places. If they can't outnumber every group but at least they can outnumber some groups and make clear there is some consequences.

could the mayor of Minneapolis ask other cities to send some local police ?
You just need numbers for deterrence.
January 15, 2026 at 5:35 PM
I really don't.
The mayor of minneapolis seemed pissed, is he faking it? If not why not so the upmost to protect the citizens of the city. I understand he can't force them out.

This has been the plan all along.
- Foment violence and chaos in the streets of MN
- Implement the Insurrection Act
- Declare Martial Law
- Suspend elections

I do not understand how the mayors of these cities do not ask for local police from other cities and get police to outnumber and trail these guys, ensuring they keep to their duties.
If ICE does their job fine, the moment they commit a crime like breaking someone's car window, they get handcuffed.

There seems to be a fuck ton of ‘deeply concerned’ people who are doing nothing while authoritarianism advances.

There is so far zero opposition the the blatant criminal behavior of our current administration. There are a lot of comments buy the opposing administration as to how they should be stopped. But HELLO! You are the ones who are supposed to stop them. Where in the fuck are you.
January 12, 2026 at 5:23 AM
No, it is not.
Do it during the week, not Sunday.

Stop the city, no schools, no garbage gathering, no food in supermarkets till the city puts a man-hunt on the killer and forced the rest of them out.

A lot of people say Earth is flat and it is also an opinion that one could have.
But everything points at not being so, like here.

That is a very random thing to say.
Their economy collapsed, why do you need anything else?

If suddenly a full chicken costs you 700$ , you may be marching against the government as well, do not need foreign hands on it.

Unless & until some local jurisdiction fully investigates one of these rogue, murderous ICE agents, this will continue. Criminals like these will keep killing people until there's a price to pay for doing so.

And they'll have to do it alone. They won't get help from the FBI or any other fed agency.

you have spent the last 24h saying that the woman in Minnesota was trying to run over ICE agents.
You are a troll, a bot or have the IQ of a cactus.

Today is the next day and I see no article of impeachment proposed in congress, so yeah, no, they will complain and they even would dare to (gasp) write some strongly worded letter.
While the issue is hot, of course, next news cycle is all good and forgotten.

Minneapolis Public Schools canceled classes district-wide for the remainder of the week, citing “safety concerns,” following the murder committed by an ICE agent. The move came after officials at Roosevelt High School said armed U.S. Border Patrol officers came on school property during dismissal.

It will show who votes against.
Any reason it can't be brought again the next day?
January 8, 2026 at 7:49 AM
Exactly. If tomorrow there are not at least an attempt of impeachment then they know it is free to do, no consequences!
January 8, 2026 at 3:01 AM
My understanding is that AOC could push for impeachment of the leader of that organization tomorrow. It is her prerogative to do.
When she said she hopes someone does something why is she not doing anything?
January 8, 2026 at 3:00 AM
At this point I really do not care about her saying it as it is.

"Any member of the House can introduce an impeachment resolution or call for an investigation."

I would rather listen to whoever is first tomorrow morning with the paperwork in.
Actions, enough talking.

Forget politicians, they are not getting us out of this.

It is time for a Martin Luther King Jr. like figure to step up. The energy of the people is there but unfocus.

We need someone to funnel it into statements, into marches, into strikes, and ultimately into changing the system.
January 7, 2026 at 8:55 PM
That may take time as per who holds the power to do that.

But cities and estates have control over their affairs, they must pass laws to protect their citizens from this.
Right away Minneapolis could put their police to tail ICE and arrest them right away if they do not follow the law
