Almost 1 in 5 people claiming Universal Credit and disability payments have used a food bank in the last month.

Proposed cuts to disability support risk driving more people to food banks.

As my MP @jeevunsandher.bsky.social , will you ask the PM to rethink these cuts?

What a fantastic spot, Em. Reminds me of the time in lockdown when I first met the St Mark's fly. Anyway, your find inspired me to follow up and there's more on mining bees here - as you'd guess, the hole is all about setting the grubs up: www.gardenersworld.com/wildlife/min...

The flowers seem to vary quite a lot but I guess they change from first bloom right through to the fluffy white seed head. Does this sound about right?

And I offer a sunlit group of beautiful dandelions, on the verge of the footpath on the canal this afternoon.

I humbly offer a daisy. Love how they follow the sun and only learnt that a few years ago when I finally just stopped, looked and asked.

Every major UK newspaper - left, right, broadsheet, tabloid - is running a front page campaign against copyright carveouts for AI training.

I can't remember the last time any political cause had such broad support, let alone one so anti-big tech and so economically consequential.

You are that artist.
Doesn't feel so directly relevant to me but can certainly appreciate the passion and have had a soft (? - nothing soft 'ere, mate!) spot for Skunk Anansie since a 10" of 'I Can Dream' arrived on my doorstep. 🀟🏼
